Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und hatten eine Safari Suite Suite. Diese Safari Suite ist eigentlich ein Zelt, in dem es keinerlei Klimaanlage gibt. Somit kann man sich nicht abkühlen bei täglich 30° und nachts 28°. Es gibt keine Schränke. nur offene Regale. Das Bett ist in die Jahre gekommen genauso wie all die gesamten Möbel, die sich in der Suite und auf der Terrasse befinden. Die Kissen sind verschimmelt. Es gibt keinerlei Möglichkeiten sich gemütlich und wohin zu setzen. Das Essen ist abends ein Fünf Gang Menü zusammengestellt. Aus allem was im Eigen Anbau hergestellt werden kann leider teilweise sehr komisch kombiniert und nicht sehr schmackhaft. Wir waren da, um uns 16 Tage lang zu erholen nach einem langen Aufenthalt in Südafrika auf eigene Faust sollte dies hier ein Badeurlaub werden. Dafür ist die Unterkunft nicht geeignet das Personal hingegen ist sehr nett, kann aber an dem Zustand der Anlage nichts ändern auf Beschwerden. Reagieren Sie wenig, da sie ihre Unterkunft nahezu perfekt finden. Der Strand ist durch eine Treppe zu erreichen. Hier gibt es keinerlei Duschmöglichkeiten und auch keine Toiletten. Der Strand ist unaufgeräumt aufgrund des aufgewühlten Meeres recht schmutzig. Zu Weihnachten gab’s eine kleine Show und eine Flasche Sekt zum Jahreswechsel eine kleine Show. Die gleiche wie an Weihnachten und keinerlei Gemütlichkeit zum Jahreswechsel, mein erster Jahreswechsel ohne Sektglas in der Hand. Der Transport zum Flughafen eine Katastrophe in einem kleinen Minibus, der keinerlei Klimatisierung hatte. Alle meine Kosmetikartikel sowie meine Medikamente sind nur noch reif für die Mülltonne. Sehr schade das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in keinster Weise angepasst, wenn man für 16 Tage in dieser Unterkunft 9000 € bezahlt.

I can't say enough good things about asDunas. My husband and I were looking for a relaxing beach breakaway and that is exactly what we found. Our stay included a beautiful breakfast in our suite each morning, a 3 course lunch and a 5 course gourmet tasting menu each evening. The food was delicious and wholesome every time. We stayed for 7 nights and never had the same meal twice. The also have a beautiful wine list of Italian wines and a bespoke cocktail menu. We tried them all. We split our stay and spent 4 nights in a cottage suite and 3 in a safari tent. Both accommodation options provide absolute privacy, private pools and breathtaking views. Elena and Fabio were fabulous hosts, they made us feel so special and taken care of from the moment I first made a booking enquiry. They really went the extra mile, Elena helped us navigate the Covid19 travel regulations in Mozambique and ensured we received our test results just in time for our flight and Fabio selflessly sacrificed his beauty rest to get us safely to our driver at 3am to ensure we reached Maputo Airport in time for our return flight. We returned to South Africa relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. We will most definitely be back.

NOT canceling our trip was the best decision. Despite unrest in Maputo, we were 100% safe flying into Vilanculas. Treated like royalty from the get go, we had the most idyllic 5 days in paradise. Amazing food and tasting menus worthy of a Michelin star, gorgeous beach villas with plunge pools, amazing cocktails and free daily massages! We'd landed in heaven! As for our Christmas day treats, amazing entertainment and dancing, bubbly and delicious food! And thanks for making my 50th memorable - we absolutely fell in love with Moz thanks to you, with your warmest and friendliest staff, Orquido, Filipe, Buono, Maria, Marta, Chelsie, Reaz and everyone else! Thanks for your goodbye chorus - sad to leave and we'd love to come back! And huge thanks to Haylee at Barefoot Breaks for making it all possible- a pleasure to deal with!

Asdunas surpassed all our expectations, the setting is breathtaking, accommodation an absolute treat, staff are wonderful - kind, polite and nothing is too much trouble, and the food amazing! What an incredible way to start the new year! Thank you Asdunas

Séjour incroyable à AsDunas avec ma compagne et un couple d’amis. Nous avions chaque couple notre lodge avec piscine privative, vue époustouflante sur l’océan et l’archipel de Bazaruto (je vous conseille de faire une excursion en bateau d’une journée sur ces îles, plage et dunes magnifiques et sensation d’être seuls au monde!). Merci à Fabio le propriétaire et toute ses équipes, les deux managers, les serveurs et chef cuisiner, tous très professionnels, serviables et sympathiques. Les installations, notre lodge, la cuisine, tout est impeccable et d’un grand luxe. Nous avons passé 5 jours de rêve entre piscines et plage, quasi seuls avec le personnel au petit soin !!!
